Luanda - Secretary of State for Justice Orlando Fernandes reaffirmed Monday in Luanda the need to make administrative services of the Justice sector less bureaucratic, more efficient, effective and modern.
The official made the statement while addressing a meeting with provincial delegates of Justice and Human Rights, registrars and heads of Civil and Criminal Identification on the challenges of the Birth Registration discontinuation and standardisation of the Civil Registry.
The Justice official announced the unification of the database of all registries to allow citizens to acquire Birth Certificates in any province.
The Civil Registry database will be unified with the Identity Card database to permit the discontinuation of the Birth Registration and issuance of the Single Vehicle Document.
The meeting discussed, "The challenges of the discontinuity of the Birth Registration", "the standardisation of the Civil Registry acts", and "The concordat canonical marriage in the Angolan legal system".
