Luanda - Moroccan ambassador to Angola Saadia El Alaoui Monday in Luanda considered partnership between the two countries active and capable to contribute to an environment of stability and socio-economic development.
The diplomat said so ahead of the 24th anniversary of the rise to power of the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, commemorated on July 30.
According to the diplomat, the two countries should make the most of the opportunities available to increasingly provide a better standard of living for the people and envision new goals.
"Today, more than ever, the African continent needs countries that are guided by proactive visions, with the reduction of divisions, for well-being and the construction of a dignified future for all," said the diplomat.
This vision, Saadi Eil Alaoui added, constitutes the background of the convictions of Morocco which stems from the royal guidelines and the long history of interaction that characterises relations with other African countries and peoples.
The diplomat, who did not elaborate on the volume of business between the two countries, said that the good environment of relations between Angola and Morocco is an opportunity to be explored by the authorities.
However, she said, this design should serve as an incentive for Moroccan businessmen to invest in Angola, in the most varied sectors.
At the economic level, Morocco's model of engagement focuses on a constant improvement of the business environment, the creation of competitive poles, the construction of large infrastructures and industrial and logistics zones, dedicated to the automotive and renewable energy sectors", highlighting in particular the Vere Investment Programme and the Morocco Green Hydrogen Offer.
Relations between Angola and Morocco date back to the 1960s, with cooperation featuring the sectors of education, agriculture, trade, among others. DSC/JM/DAN/NIC
