Luanda - A football stadium with a probable capacity of 8,000 to 10,000 onlookers is to be built in Mbanza Congo city, with the necessary funds to be included in the next State Budget (OGE 2025).
The project follows the meeting that the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, held on Wednesday in Mbanza Congo with the Zaire government.
The province will receive another essential infrastructure for sport promotion, a multi-purpose pavilion to be built in Soyo city. The corresponding funds should also be included in the 2025 State Budget.
A new Soyo/Mbanza Congo road link, following a route that shortens the distance between the two cities, is also to be built, given its strategic importance, along with water supply systems for Soyo and Mussera is expected be implemented.
Following the meeting, the President of the Republic visited the construction site of the Zaire General Hospital.
