Luanda - The Plenary of the National Assembly is to discuss and vote on Monday (14), in its general terms, on the Draft Law that amends the Value Added Tax (VAT) Code.
According to a note from the National Assembly that ANGOP has had access to, the 8th Ordinary Plenary Meeting of the 1st Legislative Session of the Fifth Legislature will engage in voting on the general content of the draft-law to amend the Organic Law of the Courts of Appeal.
On the occasion, the draft-law on the Statutes of the Former Presidents of the Republic, will also go to the general and final vote, after passing through the specialty commissions.
During the plenary session, the parliamentarians will also discuss and approve the bill that authorizes the President of the Republic, as Holder of Executive Power, to legislate on the incentives to be granted to the Concession Area of Oil Block 20/11, as well as on the Legal Regime of Freight Activity.
The MPs will also discuss and vote the draft resolutions on the activity reports of 2022 of the National Electoral Commission and the Ombudsman, in addition to the draft resolutions to amend the name of the 10th Specialized Work Commission of the National Assembly,
The plenary meeting will also discuss and vote of internal issues, highlighting the resolution project on the Draft related to the Expenditure Structure for the Budget of the National Assembly referring to the Financial Year of 2024 and the resolution which approves the Report and Summary of Activities Developed during the Parliamentary Year 2022/2023
