Menongue - The new companion and coordinator of the Southern Judicial Region of the Attorney General's Office, Vanderley Bento Mateus, pointed out today, as a priority, to strengthen relations with Government and judicial institutions for the continuous defense of democratic legality.
The magistrate intervened in the act of his presentation to the Government, judicial magistrates and the Public Prosecutor's Office, Defense and Security bodies, religious and traditional entities, among others present.
To this end, he reiterated that he would work to improve the performance of magistrates in the PGR region in the four provinces, namely Cuando Cubango, Cunene, Huíla and Namibe.
Vanderley Bento Mateus, who replaces Hernâni João de Freitas Beira Grande, who was in office for three years, also pointed out the objective of improving the relationship between the judiciary magistrates and the Public Prosecutor's Office, judicial technicians.
The vice-governor of Cuando Cubango, João Bonifácio Cassanga, reaffirmed the Government's commitment to continue working with the PGR in the province, given the important, arduous role and difficult task in its challenges in defending individual and collective interests.
'At our level, we are doing everything in the creation of housing and other infrastructures for the professionals of the Attorney General's Office,' assured the deputy governor. ALK/FF/PLB/DOJ
