Talatona - Angolan First Lady, Ana Dias Lourenço, participated this Tuesday, in Luanda, in the 8th Conference of Italy Design Day (IDD) 2024, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
At the end of the event, Ana Dias Lourenço stated that the event touched on interesting approaches linked to projects created by the participants, showing that with creativity and dedication it is possible to do many things and do them well, which make Angolans proud in any part of the world.
“Angola has a future, and today I leave here with the full conviction that we have a future, and that the future is our youth and people with the capacity to create like these diamonds present in this panel”, she said.
For his part, the Italian ambassador to Angola, Cristiano Galo, said that the conference aimed to celebrate the Italian creativity and flai, as well as the capacity for innovation of Italian professionals and companies.
According to the diplomat, the event also aimed to maintain an interactive conversation, resulting in a dynamic sharing of knowledge amongh representatives of the academic world.
“Creating contact networks is the first fundamental step towards developing partnerships, whether in the academic exchange sector or in the business sector, through participation in many sectoral fairs organized in my country”, he highlighted.
Therefore, he added, “we are convinced that designers, fashion and architecture can offer their contributions to rethink the future, directing attention to economic development, which includes responsibility in the environmental, social and cultural areas”.
During the conference, professor Arturo Dell Acqua Bellavitis addressed the topic “New furniture trends in Italy”, businesswoman and fashion consultant Claúdia Mittler spoke about “How to create a new creative business model in the fashion sector” and architect and creative director Danécia Sibingo shared her experience in the event.
