The Global Conference is a platform for women to come together, exchange ideas, learn from each other and define common and innovative strategies to promote gender equality, women's rights and empowerment, as well as good practices in advancing women's political participation and leadership.
“Participants will hear briefings from a diverse group of peer parliamentarians, identify challenges to ensuring equal voice and power for women, and will evaluate effective strategies on the path to parity,” the document reads.
