Luanda - The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, is to visit Angola in the first week of December, thus rescheduling the trip postponed a few weeks ago due to the passage of Hurricane Milton through North American territory.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the White House.
In the official note, Washington states that the trip to Angola “will celebrate the transformation of the US-Angola relationship, recognize Angola's role as a strategic partner and regional leader and discuss increased collaboration in security, health, and economic partnerships (...)”.
The note states that the strategic cooperation partnerhip is also to be strengthened with this visit, with emphasis on investment support for the Lobito corridor.
