Luanda - The President of the United States of America Joe Biden is expected in Luanda on Monday for a three-day state visit to Angola, at the invitation of President João Lourenço.
The US President's visit, according to a press release published Friday, will recognize Angola's role as a regional leader and reaffirm the true transformation of the relationship between the United States of America and the Republic of Angola.
Angola and the US are working to overcome a number of pressing and critical challenges, such as improving infrastructure in Africa and economic opportunities and sustainable development on the continent.
The expansion of technologies and scientific cooperation, the strengthening of peace and security and food security are also other priorities defined by the two countries in their strategic relationship.ART/TED/AMP
