Luanda - Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, left Luanda on Wednesday for Oslo, capital of the Kingdom of Norway, for a two-day official visit.
At Luanda’s 4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, João Lourenço, accompanied by the First Lady, Ana Dias Lourenço, was bid farewell by the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, members of the Executive and presidential aides.
The programme includes for Thursday, the first day of the visit, an address by the President, as keynote speaker, in a Business Forum, which will bring together influential Norwegian companies.
Also present at the event will be some Angolan ministers who will use the different discussion panels to show the business opportunities that exist in Angola.
On the same day (Thursday), the Angolan Head of State is expected to grant audiences to leaders of companies that are interested in investing in Angola.
In this first visit to Norway, as an Angolan statesman, João Lourenço has scheduled, for Friday, meetings with the Prime Minister of that country, Jonas Gahr Store, and with King Harald, in separate ceremonies.
The end of the visit is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
