The ceremony, which will be witnessed by more than 20 Heads of State, will take place at the Amahoro Stadium, in Kigali, with a capacity for 145 thousand people.
Paul Kagame became President of Rwanda in 2000, elected by Parliament, after the resignation of the then Head of State, Pasteur Bizimungu, which was followed by four other elections by universal suffrage.
In the legislative elections, which took place simultaneously, the hegemony of the Frente Patriota Rwandesa (FPR) party was also confirmed, which collected 68.83% of the votes
The current leader has been one of the dominant figures in Rwanda since he overthrew the Hutu government in July 1994 with the FPR.
