Accra – Angolan President, João Lourenço, discussed this Sunday, in Accra (Ghana), the strengthening of bilateral relations with his Djibouti counterpart, Ismail Omar Guelleh.
The meeting was held on the fringes of the Sixth Mid-Year Coordinatin Meeting between the African Union (AU), the Regional Economic Communities (RECs) and the Regional Mechanisms (RMs) focussed on the reinforcement of regional integration.
Angola and Djibouti signed on February this year, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the first three juridical instruments in the ambit of the reinforcement of co-operation relations between the two countries.
These legal instruments are the Understanding Memorandum on Political Consultations, the Visa Exemption Agreement on Diplomatic and Service Passports, and the General Co-operation Agreement in the economic, technical, social and scientific areas.
