Cairo, Luanda - The President of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, on Monday sent a congratulatory message to his Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço, on the occasion of the celebration of the 49th anniversary of National Independence, which is marked on 11th of November.
According to a press release, El-Sisi's message highlights the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries and encourages their deepening.
The message was transmitted to the Angolan ambassador to Egypt, Nelson Cosme, by Mohamed Begm, in his capacity as special envoy of the Egyptian President.
The message, which is extended to the Government and the Angolan people, highlights the advances made by Angola in the most varied areas of national life, throughout the 49 years of independence, and the significant increase in bilateral cooperation in recent years.
The Egyptian head of state also congratulates Angola for the important role it has played, in the search for conflict solutions to regional conflicts, and expresses the willingness of the Arab Republic of Egypt to continue working with Angola, with a view to strengthening bilateral relations and seeking positions common in the concert of nations.
