Luanda - The President of East Timor, José Ramos Horta, arrives in Luanda this Sunday, for a 72-hour state visit.
During his stay in Luanda, the Timorese president will hold talks with his Angolan counterpart, João Lourenço, and will sign several cooperation agreements.
José Ramos Horta will also be received by the president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, and will participate in a solemn session at the National Assembly in his honor.
With 14,874 km2 of territorial extension, Timor-Leste is one of the youngest countries in the world, and occupies the eastern part of the island of Timor, in Southeast Asia.
The country has open market economy dependent on exports of some commodities, such as coffee, marble, oil and sandalwood. VIC/DOJ
