Luanda - The Speaker of the Angolan parliament, Carolina Cerqueira, on Monday congratulated Trán Thành Mãn on his recent election as president of the Vietnamese National Assembly for the 15th legislature.
In a note sent to ANGOP, the parliamentary leader expressed her conviction that, with her high sense of mission and personal commitment to the well-being of the Vietnamese people, Trán Thành Mãn will contribute “greatly” to the consolidation of democratic institutions.
Will also commit to national inclusion as priority actions at both political and social levels, for the progress and development of that Asian country.
Therefore, Carolina Cerqueira hopes that the commitment of Vietnamese deputies will contribute, at the level of the Association of Southwest Asian Countries and the Comprehensive and Progressive Partnership for Eastern Economic Cooperation, to the security, stability and progress of the countries.
“We reaffirm our willingness to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship and parliamentary cooperation between our institutions, within the framework of the friendly relations existing between our two countries and brotherly peoples”, she concluded. ART/TED/DOJ
