Luanda – The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, congratulated this Tuesday his counterparts from Cape Verde, Algeria and Venezuela on their independence day celebrations, marked Monday 5th.
A note from the Office for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs of the President of the Republic indicates that the letter sent to his Cape Verdean counterpart, Jorge Carlos Fonseca, the Angolan Head of State stressed the fact that after 46 years of independence, Cape Verde has overcome barriers and natural restrictions and conquered places in the African continent as well as has had success as a nation pursuing its development goals.
To the Algerian people, whose country became independent from France in 1962, João Lourenço whishes that their great aspirations, stability, development and welfare keep materializing continuously.
On the message sent to the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, its highlighted the hope that the memorable day marking 210 years of independence of that country be celebrated in an environment of fraternity and harmony among all Venezuelans.
