Luanda – Angola’s head of State João Lourenço expressed Wednesday solidarity with the people of Libya after severe floods killed more than 2, 300 people.
“On behalf of the Angolan Executive and myself, I express solidarity with the victims’ families the most heartfelt condolences at this dramatic time for the Libyan people”, reads the message sent to his Libya’s counterpart.
In addition to the deaths, the natural phenomenon also caused around seven thousand injuries in Derna and over five thousand went missing. VM/TED/NIC
