Seoul – Angolan president João Lourenço received Tuesday in Seoul, a group of Angolan students in South Korea.
The Head of State is having a 48-hour state visit to South Korea, with a view to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
At the meeting, seven students raised some concerns, namely the need to vote and renew personal documents where they are.
For Arlindo Roberto, electronic engineering and technology student, President João Lourenço showed interest in helping students with their concerns whenever possible.
He said it was a positive conversation and a unique opportunity to question the highest representative of the Republic about his concerns.
Pedro Vicente, an employee of a private company in Korea, praised the Angolan statesman for the projects underway in the country, for the sustainable development of Angola.
Júlia Araújo, a 22-year-old student of advanced biology and neo-cognitive sciences told ANGOP she wants to return to Angola as soon as she finishes her course and become a teacher in her specialty.
She said that the President encouraged her to pursue her goals, considering the meeting "unforgettable" and very positive.
Froide Manuel, from the computer science course, 21 years old, was categorical in stating that the meeting was productive and liked the words and ideas of the President of the Republic for a bright future for Angolans.
"It was an interesting experience and I'm proud to know and hear his teachings first-hand", said Danilo Joaquim, electrical and electronic engineering student.
