Luanda – Angola Head of State, João Lourenço, received Monday in Luanda, a message from his Mauritanian counterpart Mohammed El Ghazouani.
According to the Minister Counselor to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Coumba Ba, the message has to do with a request for support to her country's candidacy for the presidency of the African Centre for Administrative Training and Research for Development (CAFRAD).
The minister explained that her country has received the support of President João Lourenço, stressing that the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries had also been discussed.
Coumba Ba said the meeting also served to convey President El Ghazouani's support for the Angolan Head of State's efforts to resolve conflicts in Africa.
The minister thanked the support the Mauritanian community has received in Angola, based on their good reports that they feel as if they are in their second country.
