Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Friday appointed Augusto da Silva Cunha as Angola's new ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation.
The Civil House of the President of the Republic said in a statement that Augusto da Silva Cunha had previously been dismissed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to Ghana, a post to which he was appointed in 2017.
In a decree, João Lourenço dismissed Manuel Eduardo dos Santos e Silva Bravo from the post of ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Angola to the Russian Federation, a post he had held since 2020.
