Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, appointed, on Monday, Maria do Rosário Bragança, to the position of Minister of State for the Social Affairs.
Until now Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Maria do Rosário Bragança replaces Dalva Maurícia Calombo Ringote Allen in the position.
In a presidential decree sent to ANGOP, Celeste Elavoco David Adolfo was also appointed to the position of governor of the province of Bié, while Suzana Fernanda Pemba Massiala de Abreu is the new governor of Cabinda.
Celeste Adolfo and Suzana Massiala were until then municipal administrators, respectively of Andulo, in the province of Bié, and of Belize, in Cabinda.
In turn, Mara Regina da Silva Baptista Domingos Quiosa leaves the province of Cabinda for Cuanza-Sul as provincial governor, while Pereira Alfredo, until then governor of Bié, starts to head the province of Huambo.
Filomena Elizabete Chitula Miza Aires was promoted from municipal administrator of Luau, in the province of Moxico, to provincial governor of Lunda-Norte.
In another decree, the President of the Republic dismissed Dalva Maurícia Calombo Ringote Allen, from the position of Minister of State for the Social Area and Maria do Rosário Bragança, from the position of Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
Also dismissed were Pereira Alfredo, from the position of governor of the province of Bié, Mara Regina da Silva Baptista Domingos Quiosa, from the position of governor of the province of Cabinda, Job Pedro Castelo Capapinha, from the position of governor of the province of Cuanza-Sul, and Lotti Nolika, from the position of governor of Huambo province.
Deolinda Ódia Paulo Satula Vilarinho was dismissed from her position as governor of the province of Lunda Norte.
New faces in provincial governments
It should be noted that before the appointment, the new governor of Bié performed the functions of municipal administrator of Andulo, while Suzana Fernanda Pemba Massia de Abreu, appointed for the province of Cabinda, performed the functions of municipal administrator of Belize.
Filomena Elizabete Chitula Miza Aires, appointed governor of Lunda Norte, was municipal administrator of Luau, Moxico province.ART/DOJ
