Luanda - The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, on Monday in Abu Dhabi, held a working meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed.
According to a press release from the Press Office of the President of the Republic, the two leaders spoke at the Al Bateen Presidential Palace about a wide range of issues, including the economy, trade, investment, development and renewable energies.
The meeting took place during a technical stopover in that country on his return to Angola after a state visit to China.
Last week President João Lourenço made a three-day state visit to the People's Republic of China, which served to reassess the instruments that guide the bilateral cooperation and also identify new areas for strategic partnership.
In Beijing, the capital of the "Asian giant", he held high-level meetings with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, and the prime minister, Li Qiang, as well as a courtesy meeting with the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Assembly (Parliament), Zhao Laji.
