Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, spoke on the phone Thursday with the outgoing Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa.
According to the Presidency of the Republic's Facebook page, throughout their respective terms, João Lourenço and António Costa held numerous face-to-face meetings.
He adds that on several occasions the two interlocutors also spoke on the phone, as part of strengthening relations between the two States.
António Costa, former general secretary of the Socialist Party, who leaves the leadership of the Portuguese Executive next April, was Prime Minister of Portugal for eight years. VIC/DOJ
