Luanda - President João Lourenço inaugurated on Thursday the Casa do Kwanza, located in the Special Economic Zone, Icolo Bengo province.

The Casa do Kwanza is an infrastructure built by the National Bank of Angola to serve as a logistics center for the storage, processing and destruction of currency.

It was built in approximately four years and will be used primarily for the storage of currency and precious metals, and the processing and destruction of banknotes that are no longer physically fit for circulation. ART/AMP
