Luanda – President João Lourenço congratulated the Angola Public Television (TPA) on its 49th anniversary celebrated on October 18.
In a congratulatory message, the president said “I congratulate, on this date, the management and staff of the Angola public television, for another anniversary, recognizing, in this time frame, the path of work and professionalism that over the decades has followed this essential communication tool between Angolans”.
“Angola's public television followed, as an active and attentive witness, the achievements and essential events that marked the almost 50 years of our existence as a free and independent country, thus helping to establish in history and in the imagination collectively the achievements of our national pride”, the message said.
In the message the president said he hopes that “the October 18 will renew everyone's certainty and commitment to continue the effort to modernize the technology of Angola's public television and the permanent improvement of its staff, so that television viewers, in the country and oversea, benefit from a service of increasing quality, showing the best of the people's productive effort and their creative genius in all areas of life”, the president said.
