Luanda – Angolan president João Lourenço on Thursday congratulated the Namibian authorities and people on the 34th anniversary of their national independence marked on March 21.
In a congratulatory message addressed to his counterpart, Nangolo Mbumba, the Angolan statesman said he is pleased to see, on this date of great significance for the Namibian people, the remarkable progress made in various areas of the country's internal life and the positive impact that the achievements of the local authorities have had on the visible improvement of social and economic conditions.
João Lourenço took the opportunity to reiterate the continued deepening of historical relations between the two countries, which provide a better working environment to raise them to levels that fulfill the aspirations of their respective brother peoples, in favor of happiness and prosperity.
