Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, as Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), on Monday in the Province of Luanda congratulated through a message all military staffs and civilian workers, on the occasion of the corporation's 32nd anniversary, marked this Monday (9).

According to a note from the Presidency of the Republic, in his message, the Head of State warmly congratulates all the military, as well as FAA civilian workers for their uncompromising defence of the country’s independence, national sovereignty and integrity, creating the conditions of security and stability necessary for Angola's development and social progress.

João Lourenço´s message emphasizes that “in the context of peace, the engagement of the FAA in social tasks and of public interest has been highlighted in the various areas and development projects, which contribute to improving the living conditions of populations, particularly in community activities and the preservation of the Environment".

The Head of State said that the FAA gained enormous prestige throughout history, exemplarily fulfilling their noble mission of ensuring, with all available resources and means, the defence of the national territory and constitutional powers, cooperating side by side side with the National Police in fighting organized crime, protecting our borders and maintaining public order and tranquility.
