Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Thursday dismissed Commissioner Officers of the National Police and of the Criminal Investigation Service and General Officers and Admirals from the Angolan Armed Forces.
According to a note from the Presidency Press Secretariat, the measure was taken in accordance with the Constitution, supported by the Law on the Ranks and Badges of the National Police and the Law on National Defense and the Armed Forces, after consulting the National Security Council.
In the same process, the Head of State appointed Commissioners of the National Police, Commissioners of the Criminal Investigation Service and General Officers and Admirals, and also decreed the promotion of Commissioners and Senior Officers of the National Police and the retirement of Commissioners of the National Police, among other acts related to military careers.
Dozens of personnel from the National Police, the Criminal Investigation Service and the Angolan Armed Forces were moved, with their names and corresponding actions transcribed in the Official Gazette. VIC/DOJ
