Luanda - President, João Lourenço was invited today by President Volodymyr Zelensky, to participate in the Summit on Peace in Ukraine, scheduled for the 15th and 16th of June, in the Swiss city of Bürgenstock.
The Angolan Head of State thanked the Ukrainian President for the invitation, but due to his agenda he will be unable to attend.
Through a telephone conversation, in which the invitation was made official, President João Lourenço reaffirmed the position of the Republic of Angola on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which defends the search for a peaceful and lasting solution.
