Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, welcomed the modernization and development of the Angolan Public Television (TPA).
"I see a complete new TPA, which has nothing to do with the one seen back in 2019", said the President of the Republic, moments after inaugurating the Content Production Complex of Public Television of Angola.
João Lourenço, who visited the studios, felt sorry to the fact that some time was lost.
"Three years is a lot, but it is also understandable. Then Covid-19 came in, perhaps this was the main reason for this small delay", he said.
He advised Angolans and foreigners to follow the contents of TPA in HD.
TPA will henceforth transmit its signal in a digital system – High Definition (HD).
The content production complex is called "Ernesto Bartolomeu".
Ernesto Bartolomeu, is a well-known Angolan journalist, graduated in Social Communication from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the Agostinho Neto University (Luanda-Angola).
