Luanda- The second commander of the National Police António Pedro Kandela called on Tuesday for the creation of conditions to ensure the progression in the career of the staff, using fair criteria, with a view to guaranteeing a dignified reform to the police officers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festivities to mark the 46th anniversary of the police body, the high ranking police officer said it was necessary to solve the basic problems, in a solid structure.
Pedro Kandela pointed to the commitment to continuous training of the personnel, to guarantee an efficient fight against crime, a process that implies the adequacy of the police training system.
In his speech, the commander also defended the implementation of closer policing system, whose main objective is to work in the prevention of criminal actions.
According to Pedro Kandela, spoke of the need to leave the Offices and experience the difficulties, so that the objectives set can be achieved.
February 28, 1976 was adopted as a commemorative date for the National Police.
The festivities to mark the date goes under the motto "National Police of Angola 46 years in guaranteeing tranquility and Public security".
