Luanda - The role of Media in publicising the actions of the Executive, led by the President of the Republic João Lourenço, received praise on Wednesday.
The praise came from the Attorney General, Hélder Fernando Pitta Gróz, when speaking to the press at the end of his swearing-in ceremony, for a five-year term.
Also sworn in was the Deputy Attorney General of the Republic, Inocência Maria Pinto, during a ceremony, chaired by the President of the Republic João Lourenço.
“I would like to thank the media because your commitment, during the first term, was crucial and essential for the population to know the work performed”, he said.
Pitta Gróz praised the work done by media regarding the vote by the Superior Council for the Judiciary.
The Attorney General and his Deputy were appointed on Tuesday by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, under the terms of the proposal of the Superior Council for the Judiciary of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
