The new composition of the Council of Republic comes in the need to adjust its organization and functioning as a result of the inauguration of the President of the Republic and the Vice-President, as well as the inauguration of the MPs, in the scope of the 24 August general elections.
According to the Constitution, the Council of the Republic is a consultative body of the Head of State.
