Luena – The ruling MPLA's 1st secretary for the province of Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, appealed on Thursday to the party's cadres, mainly public servants, to be proactive in carrying out their duties, taking into account the challenges of the present and the future.

Speaking at the New Year's greetings ceremony, the politician, who is also the province’s governor, stated that “being from the MPLA must mean, above all, serving the country and the citizens”, calling for the commitment of militants in the process of construction and development of the province.

On the other hand, he recommended that the strengthening of internal democracy and the materialization of political and ideological guidelines should continue to dominate the party's actions in the province, in 2025.
