Luanda – The ruling MPLA congratulated the African National Congress (ANC), last Wednesday, for its victory in the last general elections held in South Africa, on May 29th.
The result confirmed the trust placed by the South African people in the ANC Party, to continue contributing to the improvement of citizens' living conditions, reads the message to which ANGOP had access.
The MPLA particularly salutes the President of the ANC, Cyril Ramaphosa, for his re-election to the position of President of the Republic, wishing great success in fulfilling the mission of leading South Africans and continuing to place South Africa as an important actor in the regional and global context.
Finally, the MPLA reiterates its desire to continue strengthening its ties of friendship, cooperation and solidarity with ANC, for the benefit of the respective parties, countries and people.
