Luanda - The book “Diplomatic Agenda 2023 – Challenges and Opportunities in the Creation and Consolidation of Partnerships” was launched this Monday, in Luanda, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), during the institution’s broad consultative council, which takes place at the Venâncio de Moura diplomatic academy, in Luanda.
According to a press release from MIREX, the book, which is elucidative in nature, reflects the ministry's diplomatic dynamics in asserting Angola's interests in the international arena.
With 280 pages, the publication covers, in general, the work agenda of the Foreign Affairs minister, Teté António, and his assistants, from January to December 2023, as well as action in different diplomatic contexts, from bilateral to multilateral, in the country and in the foreigner, often as special envoy of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.
The brochure, prefaced by Angola's permanent representative to the United Nations, Francisco da Cruz, provides an overview of the principles, objectives and priorities of Angolan diplomatic activity, in terms of the country's international influence and importance.
“Diplomatic Agenda 2023 – Challenges and Opportunities in the Creation and Consolidation of partnerships” aims to demonstrate, through photographic reports and the use of social networks, the dissemination of events and facts of this ministerial department, with activities of Angolan diplomatic missions, as well as the use of new information technologies.
It offers a vision “in line with the dynamics of opportunities and challenges arising from the world we live in”, according to the press release.
