Luanda – The Foreign Affairs minister, Téte António, on Monday in Luanda Province received a delegation from the Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI) of the Republic of Cuba.
According to a press release to which ANGOP has had access, the delegation's visit is aimed at establishing contacts with the Directorate of the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy (ADVM), as part of a tour of some African states, namely Angola, Guinea-Bissau and Guinea.
During the courtesy meeting, held at the ADVM, it was emphasised that the Cuban delegation wanted to work hand in hand with its Angolan counterpart.
The two international relations institutions want to identify common points for boosting the Cooperation Agreement signed last year between ISRI in Cuba and ADVM in Angola.
The audience was attended, among other diplomats, by Ambassador Marcos Barrica, director-general of the ADVM.
The Cuban delegation includes Leonel Mangueira, Vice-Rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies as well as by Eumelio Rodríguez, the director of International Relations at ISRI.
