Luanda - Foreign Affairs minister, Téte António, held a working meeting this Wednesday, in Moscow, with his Russian counterpart, Serguey Lavrov, to review important issues of common interest that appear on bilateral and multilateral agendas.
On the occasion, they addressed, among other aspects, the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, mainly in the chapter of diversification of the existing strategic partnership between the two countries, having analyzed the possibility of greater participation of Russian economic operators in the process of Angola´s development.
On the sidelines of the official meeting between the two delegations, the Angolan diplomat visited the Institute of African Studies of the Russian Federation, where he held a meeting with the governing body of that institution, whose main objective is to produce scientific-academic reflections on matters relating to the African continent.
Finally, Téte António visited the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Federation, where he gave a lecture on the priorities of the Foreign Policy of the Republic of Angola to an audience composed of academics, diplomats, students and guests.
The Angolan diplomat started today, Wednesday, a working visit to the Russian Federation. Before that, he visited Serbia where he addressed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, with emphasis on agriculture and training of personnel linked to the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
