Luanda - The Minister of Territory Administration, Marcy Lopes, criticised Friday the way the several State structures have been managing the issue of violations to the Advertisement Law.
Speaking at the launch of the Advertising Licensing System, the Cabinet minister said that, at the moment, advertising boards in inappropriate places and with mistakes in the Portuguese language can be seen all over the country, which does not dignify the image of localities.
According to the official, in order to change this situation, considered chaotic and with urgent need of correction, the State should rescue its authority, without fear of acting when necessary.
In his turn, the Secretary of State for Local Authorities, Márcio Daniel, clarified to the press that the new licensing system is part of a new Government approach, which aims to simplify the procedures and to bring the services closer to the population and to the companies.
"From now on, any citizen or company has at its disposal a simple, close and digital mechanism to be able to license its advertising activity," he said.
With the launch of this system, interested parties have 45 days to go to the municipal, district or communal administrations to regularise their licensing.
