Cacuaco - The minister of the Interior, Eugénio Laborinho, on Tuesday in Luanda Province expressed his confidence in the work being carried out by the new director-general of the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), who was recently appointed by the Head of State, João Lourenço.
Speaking at the take over and presentation ceremony of the new appointee, the minister said that he is convinced that the new director would carry out work in a harmonious environment.
To this end, the minister requested all support for the new director of SIC to carry out his duties successfully.
He recognized that the SIC's mission is very important and has great responsibility in combating various crimes.
In turn, the recently appointed general director of SIC, Luciano Custódio Mateus da Silva, briefly appealed for everyone's support to march together towards a single objective.
He recalled that the recommendation given by the President of the Republic is to continue improving the quality of service, because the weight falls on everyone from whom total commitment is required.
The new general director was appointed to the aforementioned role last Friday, through a Presidential decree.
