Luanda - The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Isaac dos Anjos, sworn in on Friday, pointed out the commitment to improving the quality of agricultural products as a challenge to be achieved by the sector.
Speaking to the press after the inauguration ceremony, chaired by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, he said that it is necessary to further discuss the concept of food security to diversify the supply of agricultural products.
For his part, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Albano Vicente Lopes Ferreira, also sworn in on Friday in these new functions, said that his line of work focuses on strengthening the functioning of public institutions in the sector, looking at the aspects of strengthening the quality of teaching and learning.
As for the improvement of the system of private higher education institutions, he said that there is a legislative framework that regulates it and that it is quite solid.
'Our idea is, of course, to make contact and knowledge with all issues associated with the sector and private institutions will also have their due attention,' he stressed.
Also today, the Head of State swore in the new vice-governors for technical services and infrastructure of the provinces of Cabinda, Juliano Cuabi Niongue Capita and Luanda, Calunga Francisco Zage Quissanga AFL/ART/DOJ
