Luanda - Luanda will host, on the 15th of this month, an Angola-Rwanda-DRC Tripartite Summit, as part of the ongoing efforts to find a lasting solution to the armed conflict in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The document, approved during the sixth ministerial meeting on the peace process in eastern DRC, mediated by Angola, will also facilitate the Disengagement of Forces/Lifting of Rwanda's defense measures.
The delegations were led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophonie of the DRC, Therese Wagner, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda, Olivier Nduhungirehe, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola, Téte António.
During the meeting, the ministers concluded on the need to continue negotiations as soon as possible on the remaining aspects of the draft Agreement, as submitted to the Parties by the Angolan President, João Lourenço, in August this year.ART/DOJ
