Luanda - The president of the main opposition UNITA party, Adalberto Costa Júnior, said that the position taken by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, in returning the electoral law to the National Assembly, will allow the deputies to address aspects that promote equal opportunities.

The statement was made on Sunday in the municipality of Viana, in Luanda, during the closing ceremony of the second ordinary meeting of the JURA National Committee of the northern region (Luanda), held from 17 to 19 of the current month.
He said that UNITA's perspective was for the National Assembly to assume with patriotism the possibility of having a law that benefits the Angolan people.
Adalberto Costa Júnior appealed to the Angolan youth to massively adhere to the voter registration posts, considering the process as the most important phase in the preparation of the general elections, scheduled to take place next year.
He stressed that his party's youth organisation, JURA, should be involved in mobilising citizens to take part in the civic act of voter registration.
