Huambo - The trial of nationals accused of the crime of "terrorist organization" will begin on March 10th at the District Court of Huambo, ANGOP learned on Tuesday.
The defendants are João Gabriel Deussino, Domingos Gabriel Muecália, Crescenciano Kapamba, Arão Rufino Eduardo Kalala, Adelino Camulombo Bacia and Francisco Ngunga Nguli, who are charged in criminal case no. 109/2025.
The information was announced during a press conference by the judge of the District Court of Huambo, Evaristo Samala Kangoma, who pointed out that the citizens in question are also accused of having presumably committed the crime of manufacturing, acquiring or possessing explosive, toxic and asphyxiating substances, as well as forgery.
According to the judge, the court is committed to justice and transparency, so the trial will be conducted according to the principles of the rule of law.
In the published indictment, the Public Prosecutor's Office considers that the crimes alleged against the defendants, who are in pre-trial detention, are of "particular complexity and sensitivity, due to the quality of some of them (public servants), the very public nature of the fact, as well as the high value and importance of the targets identified and the organized manner in which they prepared the actions they proposed to carry out".
