Harare - Hernani Correia, from the Angolan Public Television (TPA), won second place in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Journalism Award 2024 edition, in the Television category, valued at 1,000 US dollars.
According to the results of the competition made during the 44th ordinary summit of the SADC, the first winner of tv category, worth USD 2,500, Lesooana Moeti, from Lesotho, won.
In the press category, Zimbabwean Debra Matabvu won first place and Zambian Joseph Banda second, while in the photography category, first place went to Zimbabwean Hunda Kudakwashe and South African Fikile Marakalla was second.
