Luanda - US President Joe Biden travels this Wednesday to Benguela province, where he will carry out the last day of his three-day working visit to Angola.
In the lands of 'Ombaka', the statesman will participate in the Multilateral Summit on the Lobito Corridor, along with his counterparts from Angola, João Lourenço, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix Tshisekedi, Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema, and Tanzania, Samia Suluhu.
The five leaders will meet at the premises of the largest factory in the country, with an eye on accelerating the attraction of the necessary investments for the Lobito Corridor, which could interconnect the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
Joe Biden will learn about Carrinho Grupo factory, as well as visit the Port of Lobito, an important infrastructure of the Lobito Corridor.
Benguela is a province of Angola, situated in the west of the country. It lies on the Atlantic Ocean, and borders the provinces of Cuanza Sul, Namibe, Huila, and Huambo.
Joe Biden, who has been on a state visit to Angola since Monday, was received, on Tuesday morning, with military honors and welcome greetings by the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, at the Cidade Alta Palace.
