Luanda – Angola Head of State, João Lourenço, received Thursday a message from his Equatorial Guinea counterpart, Teodoro Obiang Nguema.
Simeao Oyono Esono Angué, the Equatoguinean Minister of Foreign Affairs, was the bearer of the message. As he left the meeting, he said that the message was part of the multi-regional consultations at the highest level to strengthen cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
According to Simeao Angué, taking into account that Equatorial Guinea is organizing the summit of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), he was tasked with inviting the Angolan President to take part in the meeting to be held on March 9 in Malabo.
The Equatorial Guinea top diplomat added that the summit would analyze issues related to peace and security, economy and development, civil aviation and youth, among others. PA/VC/DAN/AMP
