Luanda - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, called this Wednesday for teamwork spirit, mutual help and sense of patriotism of the members of the Angolan Government.
"We have to be aware that we are a team. Nobody works alone. There must be mutual help among us and we must always have the sense of State in mind," he said.
Minister focuses on continuity of programmes
The Head of State was speaking in the inauguration ceremony of new members of the Angolan Government insisted that only with a team spirit the government will achieve the proposed goals.
President João Lourenço also stated that being part of the government at central and provincial level is a great responsibility.
At the Presidential Palace, Mário Augusto Caetano de Sousa, took office as Minister of Economy and Planning, and Dalva Maurícia Calombo Ringote Allen, as Secretary of State for Economy.
On the other, hand Faustino António Lourenço Cortez, took office as deputy governor of Cunene Province for Technical Services and Infrastructure, and Lídia Celma Gonçalves Machado Amaro, as deputy governor for the Political, Social and Economic Sector of Benguela Province.
Speaking to the press, at the end of the ceremony, the new minister of Economy and Planning, Mário Caetano de Sousa, said that, initially, the priorities of his work will fall to the continuity of the programmes of the ministerial department under his responsibility.
"We have a good working team, at the Ministry level, and we are going to reach the goals successfully", assured the official who replaces Sérgio de Sousa Mendes dos Santos.
