President Lourenço expressed his full availability to work with Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu to strengthen friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.
Political and diplomatic relations between Angola and Nigeria date back to 1975. Both countries are members of the African Union, the Gulf of Guinea Commission (GCC) and the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
The two States have cooperation relations, mainly in the politico-diplomatic, defence and security, oil, education, culture and transport areas.
