Menongue - The President of the MPLA, João Lourenço, this Friday praised the commitment of the private business sector to increase agricultural production and diversify the national economy.
“The private business sector has responded positively", with results that are beginning to be felt in the increase in agricultural, fishing and industrial production, underlined João Lourenço, in Menongue, Cuando Cubango at the launch of the MPLA´s political agenda for 2022.
The MPLA leader also praised the increase in the supply of electricity and drinking water to the population, the supply of housing, school and hospital infrastructure, as well as jobs in the social area, with emphasis on the health and education segment.
Regarding to the drought situation in the south of the country, he said that the Angolan Government will continue to give greater attention to this issue, as well as the execution of structuring projects for the transport and storage of water, from the Cunene River and others.
Recognizing the importance of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), João Lourenço said that the Angolan citizen continues to be the recipient of all the action of his party.
